American actress Alyssa Milano has been battling symptoms of COVID-19 since she tested positive for the disease in March. On Sunday, she posted a video on Twitter showing what her condition has done to her hair.

In the video, Alyssa Milano showed a huge amount of hair that comes out of her head after brushing her wet hair with a clean brush. “I just wanted to show you the amount of hair that is coming out of my head as a result of Covid,” she said. “One brushing, this is my hair loss from Covid-19. Wear a d*** mask,” she added.

The actress also urged her followers not to underestimate COVID-19. “Thought I’d show you what #Covid19 does to your hair,” she wrote in the caption. “Please take this seriously.”

Last week, Milano shared in an interview with Chris Cuomo and infectious disease expert Dr. William Schaffner on “PrimeTime” that she was already in recovery but was still waiting for advice from her doctors on what steps to take next. She revealed that despite testing negative the last time she had been tested, symptoms of the disease still remained.

“My question is there is no guidance on what to do once you recover,” she said. “I don’t know if I should get my heart checked, my lungs checked. There are concerns about vascular system. Do I need to go get a panel for all of that? There is no guidance because this is all so new,” she added.

In an Instagram post last week, Milano also revealed that symptoms of the disease still lingered despite her negative test result. She also said the country’s testing system was flawed and that there’s no way to know the “real numbers.”

“I had never been this kind of sick. Everything hurt. Loss of smell. It felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t keep food in me. I lost 9 pounds in 2 weeks,” she wrote, showing a photo of her wearing a breathing apparatus. “I basically had every Covid symptom.”
