At the TCA 2014 press tour a lot of exciting news and spoilers for season five of “Archer” was revealed. The first big news announced was that Kenny Loggins is revealed to be guest starring on season five and he will play himself. It was also revealed that he will record a duet with "Cherlene," Cheryl/Carol's new country music persona. Executive producer Matt Thompson teased that Charlene’s character would be singing in almost every episode of the season.

The duet with Kenny Loggins will be of his 1986 hit-song “Danger Zone” and will premiere with a video during episode six which airs Monday, Feb. 17. The song will also be featured in the “Archer” soundtrack titled “Charlene.” The soundtrack will feature three original “Archer” songs including: "It's All About Me," "I'll Burn it Down" and "Gypsy Woman.” Meanwhile Thompson and creator Adam Reed revealed teasers about other characters for season five which include:

"Malory is kind of untethered. She's so used to be in charge of this agency ... and now she kind of doesn't really know what's going on,” said Thompson. “She's kind of directionless, I want to say, until late in the season when she kind of puts herself back together." Thompson also said, "Archer is enjoying the fact that he's basically become like a drug dealer. Selling cocaine and getting involved in the 'Miami Vice' lifestyle. He wants a pet tiger, that's his biggest goal.”

Creator Adam Reed mentions Lana’s baby shower saying, ”We do have an awesome, awesome baby shower for [Lana]. Kenny Loggins is involved. ... He plays a really terrible, terrible, b****** version of himself.” He also dishes on her delivery date. "In the final episode, Lana will deliver her baby in a Central American jungle and Archer will be there to deliver the baby with her,” said Reed. Meanwhile Guest stars for season five of “Archer” include Ron Perlman, Gary Cole, Christian Slater and Fred Armisen. "Archer" airs Monday nights at 10:30 p.m. ET on FX.
