Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus just sparked speculations that they are collaborating on a new song with Lana Del Rey. Earlier this week, both singers liked two Instagram posts about their rumored collaboration, only adding fuel to the fire.

Rumors about Grande, Cyrus and Del Rey collaborating have been swirling around online for weeks now, but it was not until early this week that Grande and Cyrus seemed to have confirmed the rumors. If the two pop singers’ recent Instagram activity is anything to go by, it looks like the rumored collaboration is indeed happening.

On Wednesday, Grande and Cyrus individually liked two Instagram posts about the rumor that they are joining forces with Del Rey. Both posts claimed that the three had hit the recording studio together, allegedly to work on their new song. When a fan of Cyrus posted photos of the three singers with the caption “Apparently Miley is set to release female trio collab with her, Ariana Grande, and Lana Del Rey soon! Are you here for it?” Cyrus liked her post, hinting that it might be true.

Cyrus was not the only one who encouraged the rumors. After Cyrus liked the Instagram post of her fan, Grande made a similar move when she liked another post that also talked about their collaboration. “An insider, who confirmed previous works such as ‘She Is Coming’ by Miley Cyrus, alleges that a new collaboration between Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, and Lana Del Rey is coming soon,” the post’s caption read.

If the collaboration between Grande and Cyrus sees the light of the day, it is something that is not new to fans. The two already collaborated previously when they did a cover of the eighties hit “Don’t Dream It’s Over.” However, adding Del Rey into the mix is a breath of fresh air.

While the “Born To Die” singer has been mum about the rumored collaboration, her joining forces with Grande and Cyrus does not lie outside the realm of possibility. Del Rey has always been a huge fan of Grande and has revealed once that the “Thank U, Next” singer is a staple in the playlist she listens to before she performs on stage. Cyrus has also been vocal about her admiration for Del Rey, sharing in 2016 a cover of her song “Video Games.”
