The MLS had plenty of action on the pitch this week as teams continued to position themselves for the MLS Cup playoffs. With a little less than 8 weeks left in the season, every goal matters and none were more spectacular this week than these top 5 goals.

Sam Cronin from the San Jose Earthquakes dialed in from long distance in their match against Philadelphia, while Seattle Sounder’s Obagemi Martins was unstoppable as he drove through the Portland Timbers defense and buried a left footed shot into the back of the net. Dont forget Andew Wenger who’s goal from the same game as Cronin’s, gave Philadelphia the lead. Colorado’s Marc Burch had the free kick of the week against the LA Galaxy, but arguably, none were more spectacular than Lee Nguyen’s game winning goal for the New England Revolution against Chivas USA.

Watch the video below and vote for who you think had the best goal of the week in the MLS in our poll thereafter.
