Gamers can breathe a little easier now that Bethesda has unveiled when the sequel to "Dishonored" will be launching. According to reports, the action-adventure stealth role-player "Dishonored 2" will launch on the PS4, Xbox One and PC on Nov. 11.

The sequel was first unveiled at the Bethesda E3 press conference last year, along with a "Spring 2016" launch window. Clearly that time didn't work out as the launch was pushed closer to the end of the year. The publisher has been quiet about the title and not too much is known about the game.

From what we do know players will be forced to choose between returning lead character Corvo Attano or Emily Kaldwin, who is the heir to the Dunwall throne who gamers spent the first game trying to save. As IGN reports, each character will have separate sets of powers.

The May 2016 issue of Game Informer has 14 pages dedicated to "Dishonored 2," so you can bet that there will be some interesting details revealed. Gamers will also get new details on the title from Arkane Studios at Bethesda's E3 showcase this year.

Check out the official story summary for "Dishonored 2" below:

"Dishonored 2 is set 15 years after the Lord Regent has been vanquished and the dreaded Rat Plague has passed into history. An otherworldly usurper has seized the throne from Empress Emily Kaldwin, leaving the fate of the Isles hanging in the balance. As either Emily Kaldwin or Corvo Attano, travel beyond the legendary streets of Dunwall to Karnaca – a once-dazzling coastal city that holds the key to restoring Emily to power. Armed with the mark of the Outsider and powerful new supernatural abilities, hunt down your enemies and forever alter the fate of the Empire."

Check out the announcement trailer below along with a video titled "Secrets from the Announce Trailer," which shows Arkane’s Co-Creative Director Harvey Smith talk about the trailer and reveals some of the mysteries of his upcoming game.

Again "Dishonored 2" will launch for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC Nov. 11.
