
As President Obama and GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney sit at their respective headquarters and wait to be the first to 270 electoral votes, television networks will have continuing coverage of Election Day 2012.
NBC's coverage begins at 7 p.m. and will broadcast from Democracy Plaza. It will run until "at least 3 a.m" on your local affiliate.
NBC said its NBCNews.com and NBC Politics app will carry live streams of NBC News' special coverage beginning at 7 p.m. ET and "provide full analysis, video and updates all day long, from when the first polls open until a candidate hits 270 votes from the Electoral College."
C-SPAN's coverage begins at 8 p.m. with a simulcast of Politico's election coverage and will also have coverage with analysis, results and viewer reaction along with victory and concession speeches by the Presidential candidates. Diane Sawyer and George Stephanopoulos will lead ABC's coverage beginning with a special edition of "World News with Diane Sawyer" at 6:30 p.m. and continuing with full election coverage funtil at least 2 a.m. A special edition of "Nightline" will air at 2:35 a.m.

CBS will begin its coverage at 6:30 p.m. with"CBS Evening News" anchor Scott Pelley. The broadcast will last until 2 a.m. and he will be joined by chief Washington correspondent Bob Schieffer, "CBS This Morning" co-anchor Norah O'Donnell and political director John Dickerson. CBSNews.com will have the latest updates and news, as well as live streaming.
CNN's "Election Night in America" begins at 6 p.m. with Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper in Washington for the network's first-ever Election Day from the nation's capital.
Jim Acosta, Peter Hamby, Rachel Streitfeld and Shawna Shepherd will report live from Romney's Campaign HQ in Boston and Jessica Yellin, Dan Lothian, Brianna Keilar will report from Obama's Campaign HQ in Chicago.
As each state is projected by CNN and electoral votes are allocated to the candidates, a vertical LED-illuminated "meter" located atop the spire of the building will display CNN's running tally of the race to 270.
