Tonight is an all-new episode of "Empire" on Fox and it is sure to be a dramatic one. Things are heating up with Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray) in control at Empire and Camilla (Naomi Campbell) running the show behind the scenes.
If you recall in the midseason premiere, "Death Will Have His Day," Lucious (Terrence Howard) vows that he will stop at nothing to get his company back but realizes he must get past Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) first. We also see the family learning of Rhonda's (Kaitlin Doubleday) horrible accident and dealing as best as they can.
From the trailer for episode 12 "A Rose by Any Other Name," we know Anika (Grace Gealey) announces her pregnancy, Cookie is still attempting to bring her family together, Rhonda and Andre's (Trai Byers) relationship is tested and Lucious pulls a gun on Camilla.
The synopsis for episode 12, "A Rose By Any Other Name," reads: "With Hakeem acting as Empire's CEO, Camilla sinks her claws further and further into him. The rest of the Lyon family tries to get him to rejoin their side, but Hakeem has his own plan. Meanwhile, Jamal (Jussie Smollett) receives backlash from his fans and Andre and Rhonda's marriage is tested."
Aside from Naomi Campbell, the guest stars for tonights episode include: Andre Royo as "Thirsty" Rawlings, Jamila Velazquez as Laura, William Fichtner as Jamieson, AzMarie Livingston as Chicken, Mike Moh as Steve Cho, Bre-Z as Freda, Tasha Smith as Carol and Charles Malik Whitfield as Reverend L.C. Pryce.
"Empire," A Rose By Any Other Name" will air Wednesday, April 6, at 9:00 p.m. EDT on Fox and will be available the next day via FOXNOW, Xfinity, iTunes and Hulu. Some of these options will cost you with episode prices ranging from $1.99 to $2.99.
