We all love social media to stalk our old friends, old relationships, and enemies. It is a way to "snoop" without them knowing we are "watching" how their life is going based on posts.

BUT, we recently got caught due to some Facebook glitches that automatically sent a friend request to those we have been "stalking."

How embarrassing!

"We fixed a bug related to a recent app update that caused some Facebook friend requests to be sent mistakenly," a spokesperson for Meta told The Daily Beast. "We've stopped this from happening and we apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused."

Many users took this to TikTok as soon as they found out they were guilty of stalking their ex's page - warning others!

Attn creepers! Facebook glitch is now sending friend requests to profiles you view. 😱 not all of them, but randomly. #abortmission #facebookhack #creepin

Some account holders even show you have to check your sent friend request!

BUCKLE UP if you try this, this might be embarrassing for you!
