Since 1999, Seth MacFarlane's 'Family Guy' has provided television viewers with some of the best comedy around. The uber-successful adult animated sitcom kicked off 15 years ago and because of the creation of the Griffin Family, viewers everywhere continue to watch one of the most successful programs on TV. Peter Griffin, a loveable yet aloof husband and father, embarks on unbelievable shenanigans on a regular basis, driving his family and friends crazy at times. Living in the town of Quahog, Griffin, his wife Lois, kids Meg, Stewie and Chris and talking dog Brian are a close-knit family and depite the fact that Peter sometimes puts his family in tough spots, they always find a way to come out on top in the end.
With the highly-anticipated Season 12 premiere nearing, fans of the long-running show are excited to see what lies ahead for one of the most loveable families on television. Along with the laughable family, Seth MacFarlane created a slew of hilarious friends that add another element to the sitcom. Neighbors Joe Swanson - a highly respected handicapped police officer - and Glenn Quagmire - a sex-crazed pilot who only cares about scoring with women - add to the hilarity of the show and because the 2 are best friends of Peter, they're usually seen time and time again accompanying the overweight father of 3 on his poorly thought-out excursions. With 11 successful seasons in the books, Season 12 is expected to follow suit with the shows previous campaigns, once again providing viewers plenty of humorous moments.
