Only last week did we report that Formula 1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone held concerns over the progress of the New Jersey Grand Prix. Now, New Jersey is gearing up for just the right sort of spectacle to dismiss Ecclestone's fears.

Yesterday, AutoEvolution reported that the young, 2-time-consecutive World Champion Sebastian Vettel is scheduled to appear on the Late Show with David Letterman next week, an obvious lead-up to a bigger event.

Now, new reports from Yahoo! Sports reveal that Vettel will be visiting the Formula One Grand Prix of America circuit at New Jersey's Port Imperial as well. A driver for team Redbull Racing and the spokesperson for team sponsor Infiniti, Sebastian will take an inaugural lap around the track in an Infiniti IPL G road car.

Following the highly anticipated track demonstration, Vettel will then return to the press and sit alongside race promotor Leo Hindery, and Infiniti Director of marketing communications Keithe St. Clair, to answer any further questions regarding the upcoming race.

Also among the latest Formula 1 announcements are new developments at Austin, Texas, the home to the other American Grand Prix that will be held from November 16-18. According to the Circuit of the Americas homepage, tickets will start at $159 for a General Admission 3-day pass. An Austin spokesperson said, "In the final analysis," said a spokesman, "we wanted to make this event affordable to F1 fans around the country."

US Grand Prix at Austin tickets will begin to go on sale beginning June 10, the same day as the Montreal Grand Prix in Canada.

From the latest press release from Austin's Circuit of the Americas this afternoon, the venue is also requesting for a regional force of volunteers ahead of the event. Starting today, interested individuals who would like to be a part of the Grand Prix can sign-up for voluntary duty at www.circuitoftheamericas.com and www.austintexas.org/sports‐commission.
