Finally! Rockstar Games has confirmed that the "GTA 5" release date for PS4 and Xbox One is next month, November 18. Meanwhile, PC gamers will have to endure an excruciating wait as the PC title will not arrive until Jan. 27, 2015. There's probably a perfectly logical explanation as to why Rockstar is delaying the PC title, but we don't actually know. Back in August, we learned rumors that Rockstar did not want to release a PC title at all.

The next-gen "GTA 5" title is essentially a remastered version of the game first released for PS3 and Xbox 360 back in September 2013. In just the first three days of sales last year, "GTA 5" had already exceeded $2 billion in sales. Obviously, "GTA 5" for PS4, Xbox One, and PC is a no-brainer for Rockstar.

So what does it mean to remaster "GTA 5"? Rockstar reportedly showed off the new game in an exclusive retailer's conference behind closed doors. According to sources, the game company demonstrated about 30-minutes of gameplay that left the guests in awe.

The reworked "GTA 5" made sure to take full advantage of the processing power in the new game consoles. First, animal textures, foliage and even the water rendering system has been completely redone. Everything from rivers, oceans, to rain look extraordinary. Puddles on the street will pool up during heavy rainfall. Rockstar successfully rendered the texture of tree barks, and even individual blades of grass. We will definitely see gamers literally stop to smell the roses to appreciate the new graphics modelling. Character models have also been improved to match the newfound definition of the environment.

Of course, don't stare too closely or else you'll miss the big picture. According to an insider, the draw distance in the next-generation "GTA 5" is insane. The main city is rendered all the way up to the horizon and. The effect is amplified at night, as the lights can clearly display traffic flow from massive distances.

Finally, let's get to the important bits. What new material will Rockstar bring with the release of the next-gen "GTA 5" title? According to rumors, the highly anticipated "GTA 5" Heists Update release date is expected to coincide with the arrival of the next-gen title. However, we do not have substantial evidence to support a reliable "GTA 5" Heists DLC release date. Stay tuned as we learn more in the days ahead.

When you watch the trailer below, you'll notice another addition to the "GTA 5" gameplay in the form of an awesome Zombie DLC! Whaaaaat?! It's a quick frame, but if you pay attention right around the 28-second mark, you'll see a Zombie with a half rotted face having a nice evening walk in San Andreas. Rumors suggested that the Zombie DLC will feature a solo campaign mode, but Rockstar will obviously bring the Zombies to GTA Online. They would be idiots not to.
