The programmers at Rockstar are currently hard at work developing “Grand Theft Auto 6.” The company has been actively hiring people to work on some new designs for “GTA 6,” and the game is expected to be released by the summer of 2020.

According to Express, “GTA 6” is currently being developed, but it may not be released on PS4 and Xbox One. Rockstar Games is reportedly going to take advantage of the advanced hardware on PS5 and Xbox 2 to deliver some next gen graphics and gameplay features.

The company has also placed advertisements to hire people to work on the new game. Rockstar Games is currently looking for Environment Artists and Animation Programmers. Although the job openings don’t refer to what game is being developed, the multiple references to next gen hardware and an open world game makes it clear what the developers will be working on.

The advertisements also suggest that the Scottish studio Ruffian Games is working with Rockstar Games to develop “Grand Theft Auto 6” for the online gameplay.

Very few details about the story of “GTA 6” have been revealed. The game will reportedly be set in 1970s and 80s in Vice City and Rio de Janeiro. The players will only have one character to play the game.

There will be a lot of exciting features to look forward to in the game. According to a recent leak, the hip-hop group City Morgue may be collaborating with Rockstar Games for “GTA 6,” GTA Boom reported. The company, however, has not commented on the news so far.

With “Grand Theft Auto 6” in active development, the fans will not have to wait for long for the release date. According to the leak about the hip-hop group, the game will be out by summer of 2020. An official announcement will be made in the coming months.
