Gwen Stefani showed her love for Blake Shelton once again through fashion. In her recent outing, fans spotted Stefani donning a hat that read “Okie,” paying homage to Shelton’s home state of Oklahoma.

Earlier this week, Gwen Stefani attended her eldest son’s football game without Shelton. Despite that, the female singer made it a point to show her support for his home state by wearing a grey baseball cap with the word “Okie” in big letters.

Stefani matched her grey cap with a graphic t-shirt, a beaded tie-dye Valentino jacket, grey leggings, yellow and white Western-inspired ankle booties, and black sunglasses. Photos of the female singer attending the sports event also show Stefani carrying an off-white bag with the brand’s signature yellow strap.

Shelton is a native of the Sooner State and owns a large ranch and a lakefront vacation home in Oklahoma. Shelton brought Stefani to Oklahoma in the first year of their relationship in 2015. Since then, Stefani and her sons have made numerous trips to Oklahoma with Shelton, where Stefani’s children get to ride ATV’s and play outside all day. For four consecutive years, Stefani and her children have also made it a family tradition to celebrate Thanksgiving at Tishomingo, OK ranch, also owned by Shelton.

Although Shelton and Stefani have just purchased a new home together in Los Angeles, Oklahoma will always hold a special place in their hearts. They have spent a lot of time and made beautiful memories in this state over the course of their relationship.

“There’s something about going to Oklahoma that fulfills a need inside me that I didn’t even know I had,” Gwen said in a previous interview. “It’s a need for space, nature, and freedom. You don’t really think about it until you have the freedom of going somewhere like Oklahoma where it’s just miles of untouched nature and it’s so beautiful,” she added.

Shelton and Stefani started dating in 2015. They were first spotted holding hands at a Halloween party after bonding over their summer divorces that same year. Earlier this year, Shelton revealed plans to marry Stefani but he has yet to pop the question to the female singer.
