Selena Gomez dropped her brand-new single called Lose You To Love Me on Wednesday and her fans couldn't be happier. But, soon after the release, there came a bunch of speculations that the lyrics were about her former flame, Justin Bieber.

Shortly after the release, Bieber's wife Hailey posted a story on Instagram of Summer Walker's I'll Kill You. In this song, which features Jhené Aiko, warns other women to stay away from her partner.

The lyrics start something like this,

If them b-ches find you, better be blind

If it ain't me or your mama, shouldn't be showin' you no love

Please forgive me, I know that I'm stingy

'Cause baby I'm gang 'bout you

Ain't playing no games 'bout you.

Other verse from I'll Kill You include,

You don't want no problems, I wish a bitch would

Tryna come between us, it won't end up good

You know I love you like no one else could

I'd go to hell and back for you.

So clearly, Gomez fans were not happy with Hailey. Several of them took to Twitter to diss Hailey for her Instagram story. In fact, several Gomez fans also made us see the difference between Gomez's post that spoke about gratitude and Hailey's story.

Gomez never confirmed her latest song was about Justin, though she did share that the song "was inspired by many things that have happened in my life since releasing my last album."

She further added, "I thought it was important to share the music, as I know many can relate to the fact that the road to self-discovery generally comes through the scars in one's life. I want people to feel hope and to know you will come out the other side stronger and a better version of yourself."

Justin and Selena split in March 2018, and by June, Justin was seen with Hailey. The couple got hitched in September 2018.
