Nicky Jam is unstoppable! Really, not even his own birthday can keep him from working. The Puerto Rican artist received a surprise cake from his team in the early wee hours Thursday in celebration of his birthday. March 17 marks Nicky's 35th birthday and everyone is celebrating. On his social media, the "Hasta El Amanecer" singer shared photos of his fans who are paying tribute to his special day from afar. There's also videos from artists such as J Balvin and Alex Sensation, who sent him warm wishes. On his end, the urban singer posted a 15-second video thanking everyone for their kind gesture.

1) At the age of 14, Nicky Jam drops his first album "Distinto A Los Demás." Although it was not a big boom, it got Nicky some recognition from famous DJs and producers.
2) The time he met Daddy Yankee when they were recording with Guatauba and DJ Playero.
3) During the late '90s, early '00s, Nicky and Daddy became close friends and began recording as a duo ---Los Cangris.
4) In 2001 he launched as a solo act. But in 2004 he became a household name with the release of "Vida Escante."
5) In 2010 he moved to Colombia for a fresh start. Thanks to his fans in Colombia, he nabbed another opportunity in the industry.
6) He made a powerful comeback in 2013 with his hit "Hoy Voy A Beber."
7) He then recorded "El Perdon" featuring Enrique Iglesias in 2015 ---an international hit that obtained the number 1 spot in the Billboard charts for more than 25 consecutive weeks.
8) He nabs three awards at the 2015 Latin American Music Awards: Song of the Year, Favorite Collaboration, Favorite Streaming Song
9) He won his first-ever Latin Grammys in 2015 for Best Urban Performance.
10) He is one of the most-nominated artists at the 2016 Billboard Latin Music Awards.
