'How I Met Your Mother' Season 9 Premiere: When And Where To Watch 'The Locket' And ‘Coming Back’

The ninth and final season of "How I Met Your Mother" is finally upon us. The CBS hit-show will air tonight with an hour-long premiere episode. Season 9 will finally reveal who the mother is and how Ted Mosby meets and falls in love with her. Fans of the hit-comedy show has already seen who the mother is. She will be played by actress Cristin Milioti, who appeared briefly on the season 8 finale holding a yellow umbrella in the rain.

After eight seasons of Ted telling his children the story of his life, friends and love life season nine will finally unveil what we've all been waiting for. Season 9 takes place over the course of Robin's and Barney's wedding weekend. The gang's relationships are in a state of flux and each character is expecting big changes. Barney are Robin are finally getting married! Ted is ready to move to Chicago, while Lily and Marshall are preparing to move to Rome for Lily's job.

In the one-hour premiere tonight entitled "The Locket" and "Coming Back" the official synopsis reads:

"The Locket," On their way to Long Island for their wedding weekend, Robin and Barney come across a startling family discovery. Meanwhile, Marshall sees something online that changes the course of his entire journey back east, and Lily confronts Ted about letting go of Robin."

"Coming Back"- "When James reveals that he is getting divorced, Robin worries about how Barney will take the news. Meanwhile, Marshall races to find a way to get to New York in time for the wedding, and Ted deals with being alone at a romantic hotel, on a special."
