The private lives of the royals have always been a subject of intrigue, more so when it comes to their choice of décor and the items that members of the royal family have in their homes.

Recently, netizens went into a tizzy after an ITV documentary revealed a rather quirky piece of Queen Elizabeth’s homeware — a cushion bearing the slogan “It’s good to be Queen,” which was placed on her sofa.

The documentary, titled “The Queen At 90,” was conjured up to offer viewers a glimpse into her Majesty’s daily life at her Balmoral home. The cameras scanned across the room until it chanced upon this really interesting piece of home décor.

Soon after the big reveal, a majority of users couldn’t stop tripping over the hilarity. “The Queen has the best cushion,” said Geraldine Carr.

Another added a quirky spin to his comment. “Tonight we have learned that the Queen has a cushion bearing the slogan ‘It's good to be Queen’. Marvellous,” said Vic Thompson.

The Queen has a playful side to her. From her choice of décor to her tongue-in-cheek reactions to iconic celebs, everything she says or does is a statement in itself.

Another report shares a significant attribute of the Queen – her bravery. “She is incredibly brave,” said Buckingham Palace in a statement after Her majesty took some friends to see the Chelsea Flower Show.

“People from her and Philip’s generation battle through problems and carry on. And Her Majesty doesn’t like to cause any fuss,” the statement continued.

The Queen has been the monarch of the United Kingdom for the past 67 years. And she has undertaken a total of 200 official duties a year, as reported on Express.

There have been reports about the Queen putting her health at the backburner for the sake of her royal duties. In 2018, the Queen had to take a break from her responsibilities to focus on her health and had to undergo cataract operation, which was luckily successful.

Prior to this, in 2003, the Queen underwent a minor operation on her right knee. But it wasn’t too long until she sprang back into action.
