Prince Charles couldn’t help but worry about Prince William over an activity that the latter loves doing. The future king has apparent love for speed, and he also loved riding his motorcycle.

In the book “William’s Princess: The Love Story That Will Change The Royal Family Forever,” author Robert Jobson said that the heir to the throne was left feeling worried about his eldest son over his love for riding motorbikes. After all, riding the motorcycle could be a very dangerous activity.

“Prince Charles was torn between molly-coddling his son and opening him up to such danger by giving him his head,” Jobson said. “He believes there is no point wrapping a young man in cotton wool, but William is no ordinary young man. His determination to shrug off danger, to almost kick out at those who are inclined to restrict him, is both a flaw and an attribute,” he added.

Meanwhile, Prince Charles isn’t the only member of the royal family who feels a deep sense of worry every time Prince William rides his motorcycle. The Duke of Cambridge’s wife, Kate Middleton, previously shared her thoughts about her husband’s favorite activity.

“He's still riding it,” she said. “It always fills me with horror when he goes out on it. I'm terrified. Hopefully, I'm going to keep Prince George off it,” she added.

But by the looks of it, there’s really no stopping Prince William from riding his bike. Even though he temporarily gave it up after having Prince Louis, he showed off his riding skills at the Isle of Man last year.

Photos of the royal show how ecstatic he was to once again be able to ride a motorcycle. Prior to the outing, he said that he’s already a dad of three so he had to tone his riding down.

Meanwhile, royal photographer James Whitaker recently opened up about the future king’s love of motorbikes. While speaking with The Sun, he said that there seems to be an irony when it comes to the dad of three’s hobby.

“It is a strange thing,” he said. “His mother was constantly fleeing from the paparazzi, who were on motorbikes. Now her son is using a motorbike for the same sort of reasons,” he added.
