Sebastian Maniscalco will host the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards on August 26, 2019 at the Prudential Center in Newark, being the first VMA ceremony to be held in New Jersey. This year, the expected awards have selected five Latin artists to be among the musical performances.

The Spanish singer, Rosalia will come to sing "Con Altura" with J Balvin. The song was the success that made her jump to fame. Bad Bunny also joins the party to sing his single "Callaita." Cuba will be represented with Camila Cabello and her song “Señorita” featuring her boyfriend Shawn Mendes.

El Negrito de ojos claros, Ozuna, will add romanticism to reggaeton with one of his recent hits. According to MTV, he is nominated for Best Dance for the DJ Snake, Selena Gomez, and Cardi B collab "Taki Taki." Currently, the domirican singer occupies two places on the Billboard Top 100 with “Otro trago” and “China.” CNCO will also be part of the show, the Latin boy band will be pre-show performers.
