The Kansas City Royals #1 Fan, actor, Paul Rudd, was celebrating on the field on Wednesday after the Royals swept the Baltimore Orioles in the ALCS and advanced to the World Series for the first time in 29 years. When asked where he was going to party after the game, he told the local Kansas City media, “I’m going to party at my Mom’s house! Everyone come over to my Mom’s!”

The 45-year-old actor was born in New Jersey, but raised in Kansas City with his mother. He has been a lifelong Royals fan over the years and has followed the team throughout their almost 30 years of mediocrity.

“Every year all of us Royals fans have had the same hope, okay, it’s the start of a new season, all the pieces are in place, our farm (system) looks great, and with the last few trades we’ve made, I’ve always had really high hopes. But, when we went on that winning streak this summer I felt like this could legitimately happen, and it has so far,” said Rudd after game four of the ALCS

Rudd has been giving everything he’s got to the team since their amazing Wild Card game victory over Oakland all the way through their ALCS sweep on Wednesday night, his voice was gone, but his spirts were high.

“I’ve lost my voice at just about every game since the Wild Card. Tonight’s win was amazing. This entire town feels it.”

Rudd was wearing a blue Royals shirt with a heart on it and the initials “KC” in the center of it. He was also rocking the Royals new AL Champions hat in place of his traditional blue and white Royals hat. He invited everyone over to his Mom’s house in nearby Kansas City to celebrate the victory.

“Party at my Mom’s. She’s out of town; I’ve got a keg. It’s going to be sweet. Five Dollar cover!”

Well worth it in our opinion. Hopefully the Royals can fulfill Rudd’s dream of winning the World Series next week because after that Rudd is scheduled to begin filming his new Marvel super hero movie, Ant-Man. He was given permission to leave the set for the Royals home games, but is due back today to continue filming.
