Kate Middleton is eagerly waiting for a milestone with her daughter, something that she couldn’t do with her son. The Duchess of Cambridge was sick during an important occasion in Prince George’s life, but this time around she is ready to not miss Princess Charlotte’s big day.
Back in 2017, it was Prince William who took his son to school on his first day. Middleton was pregnant with Princess Charlotte and she was too unwell to drop her son off at school. Now that it is nearly time for schools to reopen, the Duchess of Cambridge is ready to take her daughter on her first day to school.
Prince Charlotte will be joining her brother when schools reopen on September 5. According to Express Middleton does not want to miss out on the big day.
When Prince George went to school for the first time, his mother had morning sickness. An official spokesperson for the royals had put out a statement confirming that she had to miss out because she had been feeling unwell. Prince William had to drop his son off at school alone.
While Middleton and Prince William too will be excited about their daughter’s first day at school, no one is apparently more excited than Princess Charlotte. Sources close to the royal family told People recently that the young princess is “so excited” about starting school and joining her older brother.
The two siblings are reportedly close and spend a lot of time together. The insider also revealed that Prince George is ready to show his sister the “royal ropes” of how to attend school.
Prince George is reportedly “very happy” about going to school. He learns regular subjects like science, math, English, and history, and he also enjoys his ballet classes that he started to take in the first year of his school.
