Kate Middleton visited pregnancy and infant health development experts recently. The visit is a part of her engagement drive in the women and health sector, but it comes at a time when there are rumors that she is pregnant with her fourth child.

The official Instagram page of the Kensington Palace shared pictures of Middleton’s visit to Sunshine House Children and Young People’s Health and Development Centre. Her visit was to support the centre and highlight the work they are doing there.

The Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) is a voluntary home visiting program that is meant for first-time parents who are below the age of 24. In order to help the parents to understand what to expect, they are paired with a specially trained family nurse, who visits the parents regularly until the child is two years old. Middleton met with the team and discussed how their work is affecting the community.

Middleton also met with the first time parents who were a part of the FNP program, and learnt how the initiative helped them. According to the post by Kensigton Palace, the program has been through a rigorous evaluation and it has been found that it has a long-term positive impact on a child’s development.

While Middleton is busy with her royal engagements and charities, speculation is rife that she is pregnant. According to Express, there were bets placed about the royal pregnancy after Middleton was spotted with a shorter hairstyle last week, which is being seen as a clue about her condition. The royal had a shorter hairstyle when she was previously pregnant with her other children.

Body language expert Judi James also said that Middleton, like many other women, tends to change her hairstyle when she is pregnant. However, this change in hairstyle is not “dramatic.” However, the change in hairstyle could also be because her daughter Charlotte left for school for the very first time recently.
