Kelly Ripa and Mark Conseulos have three children together. The couple is known for their hilarious but relatable parenting tactics, which sometimes upset their kids.

During one episode of “Live With Kelly And Ryan,” the talk show host revealed that she oftentimes embarrasses her children. And even though the move oftentimes causes friction between her and her kids, Ripa said that she doesn’t take their reactions very seriously.

Ripa usually shows hilarious photos of her kids, especially when they were still very young. And Ripa tends to show the photos that her kids post on their social media account. Her mindset is that if her kids can upload them online, then she can show them on television.

During an interview, Ripa also revealed that she and her husband came up with a strict rule regarding the use of phones. For the couple, phones are a privilege and not a right. The couple doesn’t allow their kids to bring their phones to the dinner table. And if their children act up, Ripa would confiscate their phones and rummage through their things to make sure they don’t have burner phones.

The actress has also established a close but respectful relationship between herself and her children. She constantly reminds her kids that she’s their mom and not their friend. This means that she doesn’t care if her children would dislike her because her goal is to be their parent and not their friend.

“I just feel an obligation as her mom to keep her living in the real world,” Ripa told Wendy Williams in 2014. “I don’t care who you are or what you do, if you’re a mom, you’re a mom,” she said.

And just a few weeks ago, Ripa and Consuelos made a shocking revelation: their daughter, Lola, walked in on them while they were being intimate in bed. And while the situation was awkward for all three of them, the couple established the fact that married couples have sex and that is nothing to be ashamed of.

The incident happened on Father’s Day, when they didn’t hear Lola knock on their bedroom door. Next thing they knew, the teenager was already screaming at the top of her lungs and telling her parents that they ruined her life — again.
