The Kardashian–Jenner clan is one of the most famous families in the world. Thanks to their long-running reality TV series “Keeping Up With The Kardashian,” siblings Kylie and Kendall Jenner and Khloe, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian have become the most recognizable names in the entertainment industry today.

Their fame also meant that they are also one of the most followed personalities on social media. But the siblings seem to have different strategies on how to keep their hundreds of millions of followers engaged.

For instance, Kendall Jenner has the reputation of being the most private among her siblings, especially when it comes to her social media posts. Sure she regularly shares photos on her modeling campaigns, but posts about private and romantic life are rare.

There’s actually a reason why, unlike her siblings, who regularly post snaps of their daily activities, Kendall is a bit selective on what she posts on social media. Apparently, she learned how invasive fame can be by observing her older Kardashian siblings, which made her decide to be as private as possible.

For instance, there was Kim Kardashian’s very public yet short-lived marriage to Kris Humphries. And then the world had to watch Khloe Kardashian’s drama when Tristan Thompson cheated on her with Jordyn Woods.

“I got a glimpse of how my sisters dealt with [the attention] and it’s cool to learn from that,” Kendall Jenner explained. “For me, a lot of things are very special and very sacred, like my friends and relationships, and I personally think that bringing things into the public makes everything so much messier.”

And she’s even more cautious when it comes to her relationships. Unlike her older siblings, who are quite open about their partners, Kendall is the complete opposite as she believes her relationship is nobody else’s business.

Firstly, she feels that relationships are too uncertain these days that it’s probably best kept secret. “I’m very young and right now I feel like relationships aren’t always super certain and I don’t want to bring too much attention to something if you don’t really know long-term [what it’s going to be],” Kendall Jenner explained.

Secondly, Jenner believes that letting the entire world know about one’s relationships will probably make it harder. “A relationship is only meant to be between two people, and the second you make it the world’s business is when it starts messing with the two people mentally,” she said. “Like once everyone is let in, you’re letting all these opinions into your relationships, and I don’t think that’s fair.”

However, not everyone is convinced that Kendall is trying to be private. PopCrush, for instance, posits the possibility that the model may not be trying to be private at all but that she’s just the “flat out boring” kind of celebrity. “At the end of the day, she's just a basic millennial with a figurative megaphone and nothing, really, to say with it,” the publication concluded.
