A plethora of titles have been announced at Square Enix’s E3 press conference but none more anticipated than “Kingdom Hearts 3.” Although the studio didn’t confirm a release date, they did treat fans to a brand new trailer for the title.
The video is a mix of cinematic and brand new gameplay. We see Sora utilizing the Keyblade transformation while fighting alongside Donald and Goofy to defeat hordes of bad guys. The graphics are out of this world and the action is intense. At the end of the video instead of a release date it just said “Now In Development,” which could mean we’ll see the game next year or even the year after that.
Meanwhile, the studio also revealed they will be bringing the mobile game “Kingdom Hearts Unchained Key” to Android and iOS devices. It is said to tie in to the “KH3” storyline. Unfortunately, the release date was not revealed but we may see it sooner than later as it was already revealed in Japan.
