Thanksgiving is 13 days away and while some can't wait to sit down to a mouth watering meal of turkey, potatoes, gravy and stuffing others can't wait to clear the dishes and jump in their cars for the Black Friday sales beginning Thanksgiving night. Typically the Friday after Thanksgiving is a day when consumers head to the retailers and department stores in a mad rush to begin their holiday shopping. Many look to Black Friday as the official start of the Christmas shopping season.

Many stores such as JC Penney, Macy's, Best Buy and Kohl's will be opening on the evening of Thanksgiving and remain open until the afternoon or late in the evening on Black Friday. Kohl's will be offering blow out and door-buster sales from 8pm Thursday Nov. 28 (Thanksgiving) to Friday Nov. 29 at 1pm local time. Almost everything in stock at Kohl's will be on sale from appliances, to décor to clothes. Children's toys will also be on sale for 50-percent of their original price.

Items like Barbie dolls, Disney Princess toys, Nerf, Hot Wheels, Crayola products, play-Doh toys and Fisher Price toys will all be 50 percent off and are sure to please your little ones this Christmas or any other holiday being celebrated. For the guy looking to get his girl the perfect present Kohl's is offering $15 in Kohl's cash for every $50 spent. This will come in handy when purchasing a diamond pendant, diamond earrings or 10k gold earrings. All electronics will also be on sale including HO printers for $39.99.
