Kuno Becker is not happy these days. Although he had been very enthusiastic about filming his new movie in the last couple of days, an accident has just ruined the experience. The actor revealed that he has lost 85% of his vision in one eye following a misstep from the makeup artist. "I have lost vision in one eye because of Roberto Ortiz," he told Alex Kaffie of daytime show "Hoy." "They put chemicals on my head and they didn't investigate that they were very toxic. Armando Hernández and I are in the emergency room, my co-star has blurry vision and I only have 15% vision."

When Becker and his co-star were filming a scene from the movie, they threw water at them and those chemicals dripped down to their eyes. Kuno added, "I hope that this is reversible, it was due to lack of investigation from the makeup department, I hope this doesn't cost me the vision in my eye." This sounds very dangerous and we can only hope it's not something permanent. It would be devastating if there's no way that he and his fellow actor could recover from this incident 100 percent. It is horrific that the crew did not do their due diligence in researching the chemicals in those products and putting their actors at risk in that matter.

Kuno Becker became a household name to Latinos when he starred in a string of telenovelas like "Te Sigo Amando," "Camila," "Soñadoras" and "Mujeres Engañadas." It was in 2000 when he starred in "Primer Amor, A Mil Por Hora" opposite Anahí when we last saw him in a melodrama. After this project he started to focus on film and eyeing Hollywood. He became the lead of the trilogy "Goal," where he played a Mexican soccer player that made it to the big leagues in Europe. Kuno Becker has also made appearances in television shows like "CSI: Miami," "The Defenders," "House" and "Dallas."
