Voters go to the polls in 10 days, the race to the White House between President Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney is nearly even.

According to the latest numbers from Real Clear Politics, Romney is leading the president by one point.

At this point in the race four years ago, Obama was leading his opponent by seven points.

According to a Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Saturday, Obama holds an insignificant lead over Romney.

Among likely voters, Obama led Romney by 47 percent to 45 percent.

According to Gallup's daily tracking, Romney led Obama by five points among likely voters, 51 percent to 46 percent. Among registered voters, both candidates are tied at 48 percent.

The poll also showed the president's approval rating slipping by two points to 46 percent.

The newest Rasmussen Reports daily presidential tracking poll for Saturday shows 50 percent of voters nationwide support Romney while 46 percent support the president.

According to the report, this is the "fifth consecutive day that Romney has been at the 50 percent level of support and he has enjoyed a three- or four-point edge on each of those days."

IBD/TIPP's Presidential Daily Tracking Poll shows Obama up 2.1 percent, 46.6 percent to 44.5 percent.

The poll shows that among all women, Obama leads b 14 points and men prefer Romney by 11 points.

However, A new Associated Press-GfK poll has shown that the gender gaps that presidential candidates Barack Obama and Mitt Romney has virtually disappeared.

Romney has obliterated the 16-point advantage Obama had with women.

Last month, the same poll showed Obama leading Romney 56-40 among women. Today, both candidates attract 47 percent of support from women.
