Actress Anne Heche will be making her debut on Nickelodeon's animated hit series "The Legend of Korra" this week as Lin Beifong's sister, Suyin Beifong. This will be the first time we get some background information about Lin Beifong like what's she's been through, what her family life was like and a bonus treat for "Avatar: The Last Airbender" fans is learning about Toph in her adult years. An even bigger mystery that we hope will be answered in the upcoming episode is who is Lin and Suyin's father's? And yes we meant plural as Suyin is Lin's half sister.

From The Hollywood Reporter the description for Suyin Beifong reads: "The 45-year-old Suyin, or Su for short, is half-sister to Chief Lin Beifong and daughter of Toph Beifong. A well-traveled woman of many talents and skills, she's a powerful metalbender, a dancer and the leader of Zaofu, the city she built from the ground up. Family is of utmost importance to her — she is happily married to her architect husband and they have five children. Su has a checkered past and got into a lot of trouble when she was younger, resulting in a strained relationship with her sister Lin."

The episode synopsis for "The Metal Clan" reads: Korra and her pals arrive in the metal city of Zaofu. It will be the second of two episodes to air this Friday, and will be on at 8:30 p.m., ET. While the first episode, "In Harm's Way," will air at 8:00 p.m. and feature Korra and the gang freeing the captured airbenders forced to join the Earth Queen's army or whatever she's calling it.

Meanwhile Nickelodeon plans to bring "The Legend of Korra" to San Diego Comic-Con, and the show is being adapted into a video game from Platinum Games, which is the same studio that brought you games like "Bayonetta," "Bayonetta 2" and "Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance."

Furthermore, the Blu-ray and DVD sets for "The Legend of Korra: Book Two - Spirits" recently released July 1.
