An 18-year-old man from Louisiana stands accused of assaulting three children aged 13 and under. Reports from the police of Louisiana stated that a native of Covington has been booked for multiple sexual assault charges. The indicted, Ryheim Ross is being accused of molesting three children aged 11, 12 and 13, confirmed by the Office of Sheriff, St. Tammany Parish.

The Sheriff’s office further stated that they believe there might be other victims who have been targeted by Ross. Based on how the accused used the internet to target his young victims, the detectives think that there could be other minor victims who have not been identified yet.

The Sheriff’s office also urges anyone with any information regarding this case, to come forward and help them with the investigation. Anyone with important information has been asked to get in touch with the Sheriff’s office.

Nola reported that Snapchat was primarily the platform that the accused used to get in touch with his victims. He also reportedly got to know some of his victims through mutual friends.

Ross first came under investigation in November 2020 for the sexual assault of the 11-year-old victim. He was eventually arrested in February 2021 and charged with a count of first-degree rape with a victim under 13.

As the investigation progressed, the authorities learned about two other supposedly underage victims.

Further charges were brought against Ross as more victims of sexual abuse were found, NBC News reported. In March and November of this year, two more first-degree rape charges were added for the sexual assault of his 12 and 13-year-old victims.

The Sheriff’s office also confirmed that Ross had been charged with one count of domestic abuse battery. The charge was brought against him for assaulting his adult partner who the accused lives with. According to the jail records available online, Ross is being held on the bond amount of $405,000. It is yet to be known whether Ross has an attorney for himself or not.

Concerned for the safety of children, the Sheriff of St. Tammany Parish, Randy Smith, warned every parent about perverts. He urged parents to monitor the online activities of minors to ensure that they do not become the victims of sexual predators.
