Looking to make a jump up the loaded Barclays Premier League table, Manchester United will travel to Fulham this weekend with the hope that a strong performance will help the club earn much needed points. Currently sitting eighth in the standings, Man U is set to take on a Fulham team that has only been able to earn 10 points through 9 league contests. The Red Devils have struggled at times this season under first-year head coach David Moyes but with recent victories over Stoke City and Norwich, Manchester United looks poised to sustain a streak of solid performances.

Traveling to Craven Cottage this weekend, Manchester United will look for another victory against a Fulham team that has won just one time at home in league play this season. The Whites are set to host Man U after falling 2-0 to Sunderland in their last league match. Disappointed with the early effort of his club, Fulham manager Martin Jol noted shortly after the loss that it is extremely disappointing to watch his team endure struggles like the ones experienced against Sunderland.

"The first half I really felt we could be on the end of a hammering today and to come away with a 0-0 in the second half is the only good thing,'' Jol said. "It was disappointing, you know? We had a problem with Adam Lallana up front and the rotation with Jay Rodriguez and Rickie Lambert. But that had nothing to do with the goals. One goal was from a corner kick again and a cross with a flick on. That was disappointing."

Meeting twice in Barclays Premier League action last season, Manchester United earned two victories over Fulham on their way to another BPL championship.
