As tradition holds, Memorial Day is the last Monday in May, this year falling on Monday, May 25th. It's a federal holiday in the United States that remembers the people who died while serving in the country's armed forces. A day off of work and school is always rewarding, and as the holiday sneaks up on us, we've put together a list with fun ways and things to do this holiday!
Do a BBQ: Almost always do people like to spend their Memorial Day at the grill. A BBQ is always fun! Grab a couple of drinks, gather your closest friends and family members and get grilling!
Go to the beach or pool: Grab your sunblock, floaties and cooler and make it a beach or pool day. The kids will have a great time splashing in the water until sunset.
Road Trip: Memorial Day = Long Weekend! Therefore, think outside the box and plan a weekend-long getaway with friends and family.
Memoria Day local events: There's always events around the U.S. honoring and remembering our fallen heroes. Check local websites to find out if there will be a parade or fireworks showcase nearby.
Make it a movie date: When all fails, why not make it a movie date? Go to the movie theaters to catch the latest flick or sit at home with your blanket while watching Netflix or movie marathons on TV.
