In part two of a two-day series, here is a 2013 NFL Mock Draft for picks 16 through 32.
16. St. Louis Rams - Tavon Austin, WR West Virginia
Looking to build off a decent 2012 season under head coach Jeff Fisher, the Rams are in the market for another weapon who can help quarterback Sam Bradford. Tavon Austin of West Virginia fits perfectly at No. 16. The speedy receiver hauled in 12 touchdowns in his final year at WVU and totaled over 1,200 yards receiving. The loss of receiver Danny Amendola stings, but filling the void left with Austin will certainly help close the wound.
17. Pittsburgh Steelers -- Cordarelle Patterson, WR Tennessee
Some will say the Steelers would be reaching with the selection of wideout Cordarelle Patterson from the University of Tennessee. With the departure of wide receiver Mike Wallace, Pittsburgh has a need at the position and the speedy Patterson would fill in nicely.
18. Dallas Cowboys -- Chance Warmack, OG Alabama
A 6'2", 315-pound offensive lineman is just what the Cowboys need at pick 18. Warmack can move as well as any current big guy in the league and he'll offer added protection for franchise quarterback Tony Romo.
19. New York Giants -- D.J. Fluker, OT Alabama
The best run-blocking tackle in the draft, D.J. Fluker would not only give the Giants much-needed stability across their offensive line but he'd open up tremendous holes for the explosive backfield of Andre Brown and last year's first round pick David Wilson. If Fluker falls this far the Giants cannot afford to let him slide by.
20. Chicago Bears -- Manti Te'o, ILB Notre Dame
While he wasn't overly impressive at the NFL combine with a slow 40-yard dash time of 4.82, Manti Te'o is capable of filling the void left by former Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher. Urlacher was a tremendous leader and had a nose for the football, something Te'o will be able replicate right away as a rookie.
21. Cincinnati Bengals -- Desmond Trufant, CB Washington
While Cincy has a formidable front four on defense, help in the secondary should be addressed early in the draft. Washington cornerback Desmond Trufant is a perfect fit as he can step in immediately to provide speed and physicality.
22. St. Louis Rams -- Eddie Lacy, RB Alabama
The departure of running back Stephen Jackson leaves the Rams with a hole in the backfield. Expected to address the wide receiver pick with their previous first round pick, Eddie Lacy from Alabama will be the heir apparent to Jackson as a perfect selection for St. Louis at No. 22.
23. Minnesota Vikings -- Datone Jones, DE UCLA
Coming off a playoff berth in 2012, the Vikings are in need of additional help along the defensive line. A freak athlete in UCLA's Datone Jones can instantaneously provide strength and burst off the edge, a much-needed asset in a division with quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
24. Indianapolis Colts -- Bjoern Werner, DE Florida State
While help along the offensive line and additional padding in the secondary are areas the Colts will continue to address, the opportunity to select Bjoern Werner, a physical and extremely strong defensive end from Florida State is an ideal moment that doesn't come often. Werner will play right away and have an immediate impact in the division.
25. Minnesota Vikings -- Keenan Allen, WR California
Percy Harvin is now in Seattle and quarterback Christian Ponder could use another weapon on the outside other than tight end Kyle Rudolph. Keenan Allen has downfield speed that will make it easier to deal with the departure of Harvin. If he's still on the board, the Vikings will add their wide receiver of the future.
26. Green Bay Packers -- Eric Reid, FS LSU
The Packers have a hole to fill in the secondary with the departure of safety Charles Woodson. Reid can step in immediately and play with veteran-type skills, skills learned under Les Miles at LSU.
27. Houston Texans -- Alec Ogletree, ILB Georgia
While wide receiver is an option for Houston with pick No. 27, the idea of Alec Ogletree joining an already intense defense may be too good to pass up. Ogletree is a former safety with great ball skills and an ability to drop back in coverage.
28. Denver Broncos -- Kawann Short, DT Purdue
Kawann Short will give Denver someone who can clog the oppositions run game, making it easier to fill the void left by former defensive playmaker Elvis Dumervil who recently signed with the Baltimore Ravens.
29. New England Patriots -- Justin Hunter, WR Tennessee
Wes Welker is now in Denver and while the Patriots did sign speedy wideout Danny Amendola, Bill Belichick won't mind adding another quick weapon to the arsenal of Tom Brady.
30. Atlanta Falcons -- Tyler Eifert, TE Notre Dame
While Tony Gonzalez announced he will be returning for another season in Atlanta, it can't hurt to have the heir apparent on the roster to learn from the future Hall of Famer. Eifert, with big hands and a physical frame should have no problem finding a comfortable home with the Falcons.
31. San Francisco 49ers -- Matt Elam, SS Florida
A defense that is once again expected to be among the best in the league come 2013, selecting Matt Elam will only strengthen a 49ers secondary that is capable of forcing a turnover on every down.
32. Baltimore Ravens -- Kevin Minter, ILB LSU
The retirement of Ray Lewis and departure of free agent safety Ed Reed will be tough to overcome. Signing DE Elvis Dumervil a few weeks ago was a great move for the organization and drafting a tremendous athlete in LSU's Kevin Minter to fill the void left by Lewis will be a great step in continuing the powerhouse defenses Baltimore is known for.
