We are still months away from the sixth season premiere of "Once Upon a Time" on ABC, but we've got plenty of details regarding the next installment.

Co-creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis have confirmed that Belle (Emilie de Ravin) and Rumplestiltskin's (Robert Carlyle) plotline will be explored more in Season 6. Chatting with The Hollywood Reporter, Kitsis said Belle potentially waking up from the sleeping curse and having their baby will be "dealt with next season."

If you recall, when we last seen the pair in the Season 5 finale, "Only You" and "An Untold Story," Belle was still under the sleeping curse, while Rumple stopped at nothing to wake her. After his initial plan to steal all magic and wake his love fails Rumple meets with Mr. Hyde (Sam Witwer) who promised to give him information on how to wake Belle in exchange for Storybrooke.

It looks like The Dark One delivers on the exchange as we then see Mr. Hyde arrive in Storybrooke, along with some of his "friends," threatening the town.

Another report from Melty echoes the report saying Belle and her baby will play an important role in the storyline of Season 6. However, it is unknown if Rumple will be part of their lives once she awakens from the sleeping curse.

Meanwhile, it has also been confirmed that Kristin Bauer van Straten and Agnes Bruckner will reprise their roles as mother and daughter, Maleficent and Lily, in Season 6. Viewers will also be introduced to more characters from the Land of Untold Stories, while we do not know which characters will make an appearance the writers have a lot to work with.

Earlier this year ABC renewed "Once Upon a Time" for a sixth season and the series will return to the small screen late September, early October.
