Tonight is the fourth season premiere of the hit supernatural drama "Orphan Black" on BBC America and it looks like the series is going back to basics.

According to A.V. Club, this season will return to its core characters. The site goes on to say that the premiere episode titled "The Collapse of Nature" will take us back to Beth (Tatiana Maslany) in a flashback, which is dedicated to fleshing out more details about the clone character. The episode re-examines some of the building blocks of the "Orphan Black" universe, but even better, it sets up the new season’s overriding arc without having to create yet another clump of villains and conspiracies.

From the promo trailers released by BBC America we can attest that the forthcoming season will not slack on the drama and action. Check out two of the promos below.

According to TV Guide, the synopsis for the season four premiere, "The Collapse of Nature," reads: " In the fourth season premiere, a Neolution attack destroys Sarah's refuge in Iceland and forces her to flee once again."

The episode was created by Graeme Manson and John Fawcett. The premiere will star Maslany, Jordan Gavaris, Kristian Bruun, Josh Vokey, Kevin Hanchard and Maria Doyle Kennedy.

The "Orphan Black" season four premiere, "The Collapse of Nature," will air on Thursday, April 14 at 10:00 p.m. EDT on BBC America. BBC America does offer a live stream service so if you are away from your TV you can watch the episode via your computer or smartphone. If that's not an option the episode will be available the following day on BBC America's website or for purchase on stores such as iTunes and Google Play.
