Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao looks to defend his WBO welterweight championship tonight against Long Island native, Chris Algieri at the Venetian in Macao, China. Algieri (20-0, 8 KOs), is a 9 to 1 underdog against the Filipino legend, but he believes he will score one of the biggest upsets in boxing history on Saturday night.

Pacquiao (56-5-2, 38 KOs) will be the toughest opponent Algieri has ever faced and Pacquiao knows he needs to score a big knockout in order to reinforce his reign over boxing’s elite. Pacquiao will come out fast and furious in the opening three rounds and Algieri will need to survive in order to have a chance in the fight.

Algieri knows he needs to have the fight of his life in order to defeat the champ, but has the advantage in height, weight, wingspan, and diet coming into the fight. At 5-foot-10, Algieri has a four-inch height advantage and nearly a six-inch reach advantage. If Algieri can establish his jab early, and keep Pacquiao at bay, he has a chance to outbox Pacquaio and win the fight.
