Are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle having deep-seated issues in their marriage? Is the unplanned vacay to Bahamas the last resort to unwind from all that stress that came post their relocation to the U.S.? Well, gossip mills have conjured up a volley of juicy rumors in the past couple of days.

“They’re jetting off to an exotic locale with their son, Archie, to relax and decompress,” said a supposed insider to “OK!” magazine. “They thought by moving to L.A. and leaving Harry’s family behind, and their royal duties behind would be the fresh start they desperately needed. But they've been shocked to find they’re still the talk of the town in the States and back in the U.K,” adds the source.

The report drops a lot of spiced-up details. For instance, it is mentioned that Markle is yet to recover from the messy fallout with Queen Elizabeth II, and everything in between. Hence, a much-needed break was on the cards for long. “They feel as if they deserve a break and are willing to spend top dollar to make it super special,” suggests the source, hinting at how the getaway is supposedly seen as a hope to bounce back to normal “feeling refreshed.”

First things first. While it’s completely okay for two grown adults in a marriage to unwind, it’s a bit much for a magazine to drop details about a royal couple that they clearly haven’t double-checked. When Gossip Cop check, it came to the team’s understanding that Bahamas has closed its doors to U.S. travelers because of the pandemic’s scare, in a bid to avoid contagion. That said, it’s very unlikely for the Sussexes to jet-off to a currently-banned locale.

The perpetual quarantine phase might have had Harry and Markle contemplating their next vacay, hence making parts of the report hold some truths. But, there isn’t substantial information to testify the same. Therefore, while it could be possible that the two are on the lookout for ways to unwind, the details are misleading, to say the least.

Case in point: Harry and Markle are finding their way, and setting up their fresh new lives in America. The stress must’ve touched an all-new high, but they’re clearly not running away to someplace just because they are probably wading through a rough phase.
