Ancient royals are notorious for siring hordes of illegitimate sons and daughters. But even their modern-day counterparts are rumored to have secret children of their own. Here are some of them.

King Edward VIII

Queen Elizabeth II might have a secret second cousin in France, if reports are to be believed. According to Swiss-Frenchman author Francois Graftieaux in his book “The Man Who Should Have Been King,” Edward VIII had a secret love child way before he met Wallis Simpson and abdicated the throne.

The author claimed that the Duke of Windsor fathered a son when he was visiting Paris, France, as a teenager. The child’s mother is reportedly a seamstress, though the royal family has not acknowledged the author’s claims.

Prince Charles And Princess Diana

A rumor started circulating before that Prince William and Prince Harry might have an older sibling named Sarah. She was reportedly born in October 1981, making her a year older than William, who was born on June 21, 1982.

According to a Daily Mail report, Sarah was conceived via in vitro fertilization (IVF). The Queen reportedly wanted to make sure that Princess Diana was fertile, and so she had her eggs harvested and inseminated by Prince Charles’ sperm.

The resulting embryos were supposed to be destroyed, but a member of the team that conducted the testing allegedly stole one embryo and implanted it to his wife. Thus, Sarah was born.

However, she reportedly did not know that Prince Charles and Princess Diana were her real parents. The matter was only brought to light when she was already 20 years old and read it from her parent’s diary after they died in a car crash.

Many believe that the story was just a work of fiction. However, a lot more remain fascinated by the possibility of the existence of William and Harry’s sister. It’s probably safe to say that it’s one of those conspiracy theories that will continue to swirl around for years to come.

Prince Charles And Camilla Parker Bowles

Aside from his rumored secret daughter with Princess Diana, there are reports that Prince Charles has two other love children. One is Jason Jenkins, a son of a Canadian former navy lieutenant who claimed that she had an affair with the Prince of Wales while he was still married to Princess Diana.

The other rumored love child is a man from Australia named Simon Dorante-Day. He believes that he is Prince Charles and Camilla’s son, conceived before the prince married Princess Diana.

“I know that my story sounds unbelievable, but everything I say is checkable — if you don't believe it, check it,” Dorante-Day explained. “I'm simply a man looking for my biological parents, and every road has lead me back to Camilla and Charles. I'm not in this for money or for a title — I simply want to know who my parents are.”

Prince Harry

Cute little Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor might be Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s first child, but there are those who believe that he might not be the Duke of Sussex’s first kid. Previously there were rumors saying that Harry already has a love child before he married Meghan.

The royal family was reportedly shocked when an envelope marked “personal and confidential” arrived at Kensington Palace. And it was addressed to Prince Harry, according to Globe.

“It contained a handwritten note and a photo — along with a letter from an attorney representing the sender,” a palace source told Globe, which supposedly came from a woman whom the prince got pregnant in 2003. “She's enclosed a photo of the little boy — who apparently has ginger-blonde hair and looks remarkably like Harry.”

The woman reportedly wrote that she’ll reveal more details “when we sit down to discuss this matter.” The prince has not given any official statement on the issue.
