René Pérez, front man of Calle 13, will be sitting on a throne in the Puerto Rican Day Parade on June 8 in New York. He will be the king of the parade. Rosie Pérez will be the queen.  Pérez is known for his social commentary and actions, sometimes leading him to meet with Latin American presidents.
