Most of the previously rumored details of Apple’s upcoming iPhone 7 smartphones are now backed by the recently leaked photos of the handsets.

The Cupertino tech giant has always been hush-hush when it comes to the specs and features of its iPhones prior their official launch in the month of September. Good thing the rumor mill has been very diligent in looking for hints and leaks of Apple’s smartphones.

Since Apple is less than two months from unveiling its new iPhones, rumors and speculations are popping out like wildfire With each passing day.

The latest leaks point to previously rumor-based reports on what fans can expect from the iPhone 7 trio.

The first one is the upgrade in the home button of the devices. Just like the MacBook’s Force Touch, the home button will now have 3D Touch functionality, which as per BGR will make the home button of the iPhone 7 sensitive to pressure.

Hence, when users click on the home button of an iPhone 7 or any of its variants, a single touch would just show the mechanical function of Force Touch.

iPhone owners would then be able to perform various app commands with the different type of pressures they apply to the 3D Touch sensors, which respond to every click with haptic feedback.

Another rumor that has been confirmed by another recent leak is the appearance of a Space Black version of the iPhone 7. According to The Next Web, leaker Macotakara has confirmed to them that Apple has created Space Black color variants for the upcoming iPhones.

Finally, GSM Arena has found several high-definition photos of the iPhone 7 and the dual-lens iPhone 7 Plus variant, the iPhone 7 Pro. In the photos, it is very noticeable that the Plus variant comes with pogo pins.

The pogo pins are said to bring new functionality to the handset, since the 3.5mm headphone jack has been removed from the upcoming iPhones.

The tech site further stated that the pogo pins will be used with the different accessories Apple has in store for its new smartphones.

Apple is reportedly launching the iPhone 7 models in early september, and the company will officially release them in the market on Sept. 16.
