1. Betty and Barney Hill
Betty and Barney Hill were abducted in 1961, this is known as the “flagship” case for alien abduction. The pair was returning home to a rural town in New Hampshire after enjoying a short vacation in Niagara Falls. They see a UFO flying above them in the sky and then it gets so close they must stop their car. After undergoing serious regressive hypnosis, the couple reveals they were abducted and experimented on by aliens.
2. Betty Andreasson
Another Betty, another abduction! Aliens abducted Betty Andreasson on the night of January 25, 1967 in South Ashburnham, Massachusetts. Betty was in her kitchen with her 7 children, while her mother and father were relaxing in the living room. The lights in the house blinked once and then a light beamed through the window, her father peered out the window and saw 5 aliens approaching the house. They entered and abducted Betty and brought her onboard their UFO, they returned her later to her family who were frozen in a trance like state.
3. Pascagoula, Mississippi Abduction
In 1973 aliens abducted co-workers Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker while fishing near Pascagoula, Mississippi. 15 other residents reported seeing oval shaped "craft", some 8 feet across and 8 or more feet high, fly through the air. Then the UFO suddenly appeared near them and levitated about 2 feet above the ground, and then the men stated that humanoids with claw-like hands abducted them.
4. The Ilkley Moor Alien
In 1987, a policeman named Philip Spencer took a picture of an alien being. Spencer claims that in the early morning of December 1, 1987, he was taken aboard an unidentified flying craft, and after his release managed to take a picture of one of the alien beings. Spencer had originally set out that morning with his camera and a compass to navigate to his father-in-law’s home while also taking some nature photography within the moor. The photograph that Spencer took of the creature on the moor was very blurry, but it is still quite evident that there is some type of being present. The being very much resembles the so-called “grays” of UFO legend. Spencer believes that while he doesn't remember beign abducted by aliens, he indeed was because when he arrived into town his compass was broken and his watch was an hour behind.
5. Margaret Fry Investigates Alien Abductions in Wales
Well-known researcher Margaret Fry investigated an aliene abduction involving a family driving on the Bodfair-Landemog highway, when suddenly an enormous purple UFO attached itself to the family’s car. Although, they felt the brief moment of fear was over before it even started, it seems that the family instead lost all memory of the alien abduction. The family was all missing a significant amount of memory, Margaret also stated, "The male was having trouble afterwards with a top molar tooth and he had to go to the dentist's... and a black unknown object fell out while he was at the dentist's-but he had no fillings." Margaret kept the names of the family secret from the press, although she did release that the husband made a report of the family's strange encounter on the highway to local authorities. After the initial report he made, men identifying themselves as Air Force personnel then visited the family on two separate occasions. They were warned to never talk about the UFO incident.
