Salma Hayek is an accomplished actress who has made a name for herself in Hollywood and earned many awards and global recognition. One of the proud moments for the actress was when she was complimented by Oprah Winfrey during an interview, and the Hayek has shared a clip of that praise on social media.

“ Not that I’m bragging... ok yes I am bragging, but this [is] definitely something to brag about,” Hayek wrote in an Instagram post she shared recently. The clip is an segment of the 2003 interview the actress gave to Winfrey, in which the latter paid the actress a compliment she can never forget.

Over the years, Winfrey has interviewed thousands of people and has become a household name for her work. During her discussion with Hayek, the TV show host pointed out that there have been only two individuals who she loved interviewing.

People have always asked Winfrey which one was is her favorite interview. In response to that question, the show host said that the first person she loved interviewing was actor and director Sidney Poitier and the other was Hayek.

Winfrey’s interview with Hayek was supposed to be for an hour, but it went on for four hours. The interview was for O, The Oprah Magazine. Hayek was surprised by Winfrey’s sudden praise, and she said that it was her best interview too.

Hayek has been taking a trip down memory lane recently. A previous picture she shared on Instagram was that of her with her mother and her grandmother, who would have turned 108 this week.

The old picture of her family appears to be something that Hayek got from one of her fans. The actress thanked her fans on Instagram for sending her pictures of her that she has never seen before and bringing back some good old memories.
