Seat Leon Cupra MTCC
A transport crew drops a $500,000 Seat Leon Cupra MTCC race car from a crane! MARC RAMOS / YouTube

Newton's law of gravity rules what goes up, must come down. Unfortunately, a crew responsible for lifting a $500,000 Seat Leon Cupra MTCC (Mexican Touring Car Championship) race car learned the laws of physics the hard way.

According to the video description, the Seat Leon race car was supposed to be lifted into a luxury hotel in Pachuca, Mexico. Unfortunately, the nose-heavy Seat caused the platform to lean to one side until it rolled off and dropped on its nose from two stories up. Had an intelligent person decided to secure the car with straps and chains before lifting it 20 feet in the air, this disaster would not have happened.

The transport crew can be seen circling around and stepping away from the scene while a supervisor in the background shouts orders to deal with the Seat Leon Cupra that rests on its roof in the middle of the road. It is safe to assume that somebody is going to get fired.

If you experienced a moment of deja vu from watching the falling Seat Leon video, that's because it has happened before:
