Selena Gomez is part of a stunning Pantene campaign, but her latest TV commercial fell short when it comes to realness.

In a new 30-second spot for the brand’s 3 Minute Miracle hair conditioner, Gomez is seen, either attempting to speak Spanish or lip synching to a voiceover of someone who, a) cannot speak the language either and b) sounds completely different than her.

“Hairdryer, curling iron… they damage hair a lot, right?” she begins mouthing. “I need more than just a conditioner… much more!” the voice continues. “Change to Pantene, and you will noticed the difference.”

It does not mean that the singer has any type of obligation to speak Spanish, but there is no need to underestimate viewers either way.

The 23-year-old songstress is in the middle of her “Revival Tour,” which has been a huge hit, to the point where fans have even moved her to tears. Gomez also had a little accident as she fell during her concert in Tulsa but got up and recovered like a total champion, with loud cheers from her Selenators.

The former Disney star is keeping herself extremely busy after recently joining forces with Louis Vuitton’s Nicholas Ghesquiere for the brand’s latest campaign, and with her new Netflix movie coming out soon, “The Fundamentals of Caregiving.”

Her loyal army of fans have followed Gomez around the world, and have even helped her become the most followed person on Instagram with her ever-growing 85 million followers!
