At 9pm on Monday, November 11 , the new Fox series "Sleepy Hollow" returns for Episode 7 of Season 1, entitled "The Midnight Ride". Katia Winter, who plays Katrina - the witch who saved Ichabod's life back in 1781 and who happened to be his wife, too - told Entertainment Online that in tonight's episode, "You get to know more about Katrina and see how strong she really is. And she's not just Ichabod's wife, she's not defined by her man, which I really, really like." In last week's episode, viewers learned how Katrina and Ichabod met. "I was so excited for people to see the bond between her and Ichabod, how strong it is, and there's going to be more of that in the episodes coming up," Winter said. "You're going to understand a lot more and her ties into the war that's going on right now between good and evil. Seven and eight are going to be quite big." Winter also added that the "backstory" to Headless would be an "eye-opener". "You're in for a bit of a treat because you'll find out more about Headless and the reasons why he's doing the things he's doing."

Fox's new series has been doing exceptionally well in the ratings, so well that it took only a few episodes for the network to offer the show's creators a second season, with 13 episodes slated to be aired next year. DVR in particular has boosted their ratings, according to Entertainment Weekly. For example, ratings for the second episode, which was broadcast on September 26, jumped 71 percent when DVRs were factored in: next-day ratings were 3.1 among adults 18-49, but went up to 5.3 after seven-day numbers came in. Forbes writes that much of that success has to do with the way the show engages with its audience, with actors tweeting about their characters and the show and answering fans' questions. It also notes that Orlando Jones frequently comments on the show and what goes on behind the scenes on his Tumblr site where he frequently comments on the goings on both with the show and behind the scenes. Tune in to Fox at 9pm tonight to watch "John Doe", and if you find yourself unable to watch it on TV, click here for the online live stream!
