Lil Wayne’s political views cost him his relationship. The American rapper took to social media to announce his split from model Denise Bidot, who dumped him as he had endorsed Donald Trump last week.

“I live the way I love and love the way I live,” wrote Wayne on Twitter. “I’m a lover, not a lighter bekuz they burn out. I am an eternal fire and burning love, either leave with a tan, a 3rd degree burns, or stay and die in love.” He further added, “You’re sweating,” in a remark that seemed like a hint at his ex. “Sincerely, fireman.”

Wayne further hinted at how things went downhill for the couple as his ex-girlfriend wasn’t really able to handle being around someone as opinionated as him. Bidot confirmed the speculations surrounding the couple’s split on Instagram. In a rather sad post, she suggested how “Sometimes love just isn’t enough.” And inserted a broken-heart emoji. Someone from Bidot’s inner circle suggested, “She broke up with Wayne. It wasn’t just his Trump support, but that was a big part.”

As the result of the 2020 U.S. presidential elections hangs in balance, a lot of untoward instances have been reported – protests aside – in the United States of America.

In other news, three mysterious stabbings were reported on the election night in Washington, DC. While the suspects are yet to be nabbed, witnesses believe the miscreants, who were affiliated with the Black Lives Matter movement, had launched an attack on Trump supporters, soon after they began to rejoice, as Trump made abrupt claims of ‘victory’ long before all the votes were counted.
