The Truth About Angelina Jolie Being A Bad Mom

Since her split from Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie has been on the headlines of tabloid reports. From her health, divorce and dating life to even her parenting decisions, many of these reports have placed Jolie’s name in the limelight and have wrongfully accused the actress of being a bad mom, a psycho and a lot more. Here are some of the stories written so far about Jolie and her supposedly poor parenting skills.

October 2018

Last year, a report came out claiming that Angelina Jolie was using her children to pressure Pitt to pay her a larger divorce settlement. The bogus publication that published the report also said that the actress intentionally moved their French estate, Chateau Miraval, to make it more difficult for her ex-husband to see her children.

March 2019

In early March, a report claimed that Jolie was spoiling her kids by bringing them to lavish outings and shopping sprees. Pitt reportedly didn’t like the fact that Jolie would buy their children stuff they don’t really need because they might grow up spoiled. Pitt also called out Jolie for giving their kids a sense of entitlement.

Also in March, a report surfaced claiming that Jolie was trying to push her children to the limelight by taking them to movie premieres and having them pose on the red carpet, and Pitt was not happy about it. The report came out a week after the red carpet premiere of “The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind” in New York City. Two weeks later, she had them attend the premiere of “Dumbo.”

June 2019

Back in June, a tabloid reported that Jolie was letting her kids have a booze behind Pitt’s back. The publication’s source was reportedly one of Jolie’s former nannies, who claimed that Jolie is letting her children run wild because she thinks treating them like adults makes her a cool mom.

August 2019

Earlier this month, a tabloid claimed that Jolie was forcing her kids to wear hand-me-down clothes and eat cheap food. This reportedly caused her children to resent her and her “cheap ways” of raising them. Her 14-year-old daughter Zahara was particularly embarrassed because her dream is to become a fashionista but her mom would always have them wear variety store clothes.

While it’s true that Jolie currently has custody of all their children, the reports that came out to mom-shame her are not true. Gossip Cop has already debunked these reports, saying that Jolie has actually been doing a great job raising them. Despite being a single mom since her split from Pitt, she has managed to graciously balance her personal and professional responsibilities in a way many single moms cannot.
