Last week's "Sons of Anarchy" was jaw dropping to say the least. Forgetting for a moment all of the drama that Jax is facing with the club, his home life is filled with heartbreak and turmoil. Tara came out of prison a changed woman, as much as she may hate to say it Tara is becoming more and more like Gemma with each episode. Tara and Gemma may have been butting heads since Tara returned to Charming but the one thing they have in common is that both women will go to any length to protect their family.
Tara's pregnancy was never real. Jax was over joyed at the prospect of having a daughter but the pregnancy was all part of Tara's plan to get her boys out of Charming. Tara knew Gemma would never let her grandchildren out of her sight so she went to extremes in order to make sure Jax would be the one to keep Gemma away. Tara kept pushing Gemma in order to get her to snap. Wendy has been working with Tara in order to get her son Able and Tara's son Thomas away from the life of the MC.
At Tara's insistence Wendy tells Gemma that Tara has decided to name one of the hospital doctors as guardian for her sons when she is back in jail. Gemma is livid and attacks Tara who fights back. Gemma is about to go after Tara when she stops and tells her daughter-in-law she is lucky she is pregnant. When Tara realizes Gemma won't go after her, she screams at the top of her lungs and rams her abdomen into the corner of her desk. A blood packet that Tara prepared earlier bursts and Tara falls to the ground as a number of people rush into the office.
Tara begins to scream she wants Jax and that Gemma attacked her killing her baby. With the help of Tara's boss the reigning SAMCRO Queen is able to convince her husband that his mother attacked her, kicked her in the stomach and killed his long hoped for daughter. Tara then tells Jax she can't stand to be around Gemma anymore and that she does not want their children near her either. Jax agrees and signs a number of papers from Tara's lawyer that include a restraining order against Gemma and guardianship for the boys.
In tonight's episode titled "Los Fantasmas" Jax is seen telling his mother she will never see her grandsons again. Other things Jax has to worry about tonight is Nero flipping on the club and the district attorney who is looking to charge the MC for selling the gun used in a school shooting. In a clip from tonight's episode we see Nero tells the DA he is "ready to give up the source of the guns." There are two possibilities here, Nero is really about to turn on Jax or he and Jax have cooked something up in order to take the heat off Nero and the Sons.
Other clips show Gemma talking to the sheriff saying she thinks Tara's pregnancy was never real. We also see Unser telling Tara that he is heartbroken over what Tara has become. Tara asks Unser what he plans to do with the information he has. You'll have to watch to see his answer. Wendy and Unser were both willing to help Tara save the boys but it seemed neither was aware of just how far she would go. Now caught between Gemma and Tara, Wendy could be the one who tells Jax what they both have been up to. After all Able is her son and she has the most to gain by turning on both Tara and Gemma.
