Meghan Markle just celebrated her 38th birthday on Sunday. But a source revealed that she didn’t invite Prince William and Kate Middleton to her party.

By the looks of it, the snub had nothing to do with the alleged feud between the Sussexes and the Cambridges. Previously it was revealed that Meghan wanted a simple and low-key bash to commemorate her special day.

A source said that she wanted to celebrate the occasion with only her husband, Prince Harry and their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. Earlier this year, Prince Harry and Meghan also skipped Kate’s 37th birthday at Anmer Hall possibly due to the “Suits” alum’s pregnancy.

“Frogmore Cottage will host a celebration for Meghan's birthday,” the source said before the Duchess of Sussex’s birthday. “The Clooney clan will be in Villa Oleandra on Lake Como and the Sussexes will not want to be seen enjoying more of their lavish hospitality after the PR disaster backlash post the US baby shower,” the source added.

Another source previously told Express that Meghan planned on celebrating her special day introspectively. “Meghan’s world is pretty much just Archie,” the source said. “She’s so in love with being a mom, her mind is on her baby boy, not her birthday,” the source continued.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry has reportedly given his wife a beautiful present on her birthday. The source said that Meghan’s newest gift may have something to do with her status as a new mom. The Duchess of Sussex gave birth to her son on May 6.

“Harry is always very thoughtful so I’m sure he has some special things planned for her, but there’s nothing Meghan’s asked for,” the source said. “She’s very clear that she’s already got the best gift she could ever get — her little dream baby Archie.”.

More specifically, another source told The Sun that Prince Harry gave Meghan a personalized black-and-white photo of Archie. “This year, there will be a birthday gift from Archie and the odds are on a sepia or black and white photograph of her precious son in a solid silver frame from Aspreys,” the source said. “The precious present is likely to have an engraving chosen by Harry that will make it extra special.”
