Queen Elizabeth II is reportedly furious with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry over one of their decisions regarding their baby. The Duchess of Sussex is expected to give birth this week.

An insider told Express that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have decided to share their baby’s first photo on the cover of Vogue magazine when they are ready to do so. However, they didn’t inform Her Majesty about their plans beforehand.

As such, the monarch is reportedly furious with the royal couple for keeping her in the dark and breaking a royal tradition. Despite the Queen’s disapproval, Meghan is still pushing for a huge Hollywood moment for her firstborn by hosting an exclusive photo shoot at Frogmore Cottage.

“Meghan is adamant that she is going to do everything about her birth differently from what is usually expected from a royal and unfortunately it’s been creating a huge amount of tension between herself and the palace,” the source said.

The insider also said that Meghan thinks that she’s the one controlling all the shots when it comes to her baby’s birth. This claim was slightly proven when the “Suits” alum and her husband announced that they will keep their baby’s birth private until after they have celebrated as a family.

Other than this, there have also been rumors that Meghan won’t give birth at St. Mary’s Hospital’s Lindo Wing. The royal prefers to have a home birth.

Meanwhile, the insider also revealed that Meghan has been teaming up with her stylists and makeup artist to help set her and her baby up for their photo shoot. “The palace is furious as they’ve only found out about her plans through royal aides,” the source also said.

However, a representative for Meghan called the claims uncategorically untrue. The royal aide added that a plan to feature Meghan and her baby on the cover of Vogue magazine is inaccurate.

Earlier this year, Meghan told royal fans that she will give birth at the end of April or the beginning of May. But rumors swirled that she might have already given birth.
